Georgia goes down at home v. Ole Miss, 80-76

The Hoop Dogs fought hard, but fell to the Ole Miss Rebels at Stegeman Coliseum last night, 80-76. The loss gives them a 8-7 record, with a SEC record of 0-2. A season-high crowd of 6,743 turned out to see the Hoop Dogs, but their cheers and excitement just weren’t enough to push the team to victory.

Georgia Hoop Dogs defeat Illini at Gwinnett Center Arena

The UGA Hoop Dogs were led to victory by sophomore forward Trey Thompkins on Saturday night, as he scored 21 points—four of those coming in the last 22 seconds of the fourth quarter—in the 70-67 win over Illinois at the Arena at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth. Georgia head coach Mark Fox seemed especially pleased with the win.
